TURBOVAC Vac Packer - D40

The Turbovac D40 floor-standing double chamber vacuum packer is the largest model in the Turbovac range. It operates on a three-phase electrical supply and features a 10-programme programmable control panel, allowing customers to create custom settings for different products.

Equipped with sensor-controlled vacuuming, the D40 ensures that every product — regardless of size — is vacuum packed to the same consistent level. It is available with a choice of Busch vacuum pumps: 200 m³/h or 360 m³/h. Larger pumps provide faster cycle times, but if an additional 15 seconds per cycle is acceptable, the Busch 200 m³/h pump offers a more cost-effective option.

The Turbovac D40 can also be fitted with gas flush technology to further extend shelf life. Combined with sensor control, this allows the creation of “pillow packs”, leaving a small amount of air inside the pack to protect delicate products that could otherwise be crushed by standard vacuum packing.

For customers looking to vacuum pack multiple smaller items simultaneously, the D40 can be fitted with four seal beams arranged in a square configuration, maximising throughput and efficiency.
