The SAP 2460 is a meat bandsaw for cutting through bone. A bandsaw is the machine that makes chops, ribs and split carcasses possible at production speed — work a knife or a hand saw simply cannot do cleanly. The 2460 sits in the SAP range alongside the SM2020 and SM1830, and like the rest of that range it is built to be stripped down for cleaning, which is what a machine cutting raw meat has to allow. Blades, guide blocks and tensioning parts are available as spares.
