Which hole size do I need?

Hub vs no-hub
The hub is the raised central boss. Machines with a recessed locating bore need a hub plate; machines with a central drive pin run flat (no-hub) plates. Pull the old plate and match the geometry before ordering.

How do I know when to replace it?
If mince comes out warm, smeared, or in long strands rather than clean grains, the plate (or more likely the blade) has lost its edge. Replace as a pair.
