OMEGA A/E32 Mincer: High-Performance Meat Processing Machine for Commercial Use

Omega A/E32 Commercial Meat Mincer - Professional Electric Butcher Shop Meat Mincer

The OMEGA A/E32 is a workhorse table-top mincer aimed at butcher shops and small-to-medium meat processors who need consistent output without committing to a floor-standing machine. We stock it as part of our OMEGA mincer range. Here's our take on where it fits and who it suits.

At a glance

  • Throughput: 4.5 kg/minute (~270 kg/hour at full chat)
  • Motor: 3 HP (2.2 kW), single-phase
  • Power: 13 AMP standard plug — no special wiring required
  • Dimensions: 248mm W × 455mm D × 545mm H
  • Feedpan: 610mm × 410mm
  • Weight: 59 kg

Who it's for

The A/E32 sits in the productive middle of the OMEGA range. It's not the smallest machine — that throughput rate means you can mince a full day's burgers, sausages, or ground beef without re-feeding constantly. But it's small enough to live on a worktop and runs off a standard 13 AMP socket, so you don't need three-phase wiring or a dedicated machine room.

Strong fit for:

  • Independent butcher shops doing 50–250 kg of mince per week
  • Farm shops and small abattoirs
  • Restaurants making their own burgers or sausages in-house
  • Premises stepping up from a smaller domestic mincer

Build and maintenance

At 59 kg, it sits planted on the worktop — you're not chasing it around mid-batch. The 610 × 410mm feedpan accepts large primal cuts without forcing you to dice meat down first. Construction is the standard OMEGA cast aluminium and stainless steel build: straightforward to clean down at end of day and easy to source spares for via our mincer blades and plates range.

Worth knowing before you buy

Single-phase 13 AMP is a feature, not a limitation — it means you can plug it in anywhere. But the trade-off is that if you regularly mince over 250 kg in a single sitting, you'll start to feel the motor working harder than a three-phase equivalent would. For higher daily volumes, look at the OMEGA C/E 32N or step up to the MEDOC range.

Verdict

Solid choice for the volume it's built for. Good build quality, sensible footprint, easy maintenance, and the running cost of standard single-phase power. If you're doing high-volume daily mincing, look further up the range; for everyone else, it's hard to fault.
